Updates & Stuff…
Okay,
first…I want to talk about “Tainted” (Gabby Girls Adventure, Book #3). It was
originally scheduled for release December 2013 but now the release is ‘on hold’.
For how long you ask? That’s the question that I’ve been struggling with for a
while now. I finished the manuscript for “Tainted” a while ago but I’ve been
sitting on it because frankly, when I started writing the Gabby Girls series,
my mindset and writing was completely different. Now, I need to take a look at the manuscript from
a fresh perspective, breathing a different life into it. But I promise not to
leave you hanging. I will wrap-up the Gabby Girls series, just not within the
timeline that I originally envisioned.
Now,
let’s talk about New Adult/Adult fiction. As many of you know, I’m writing New
Adult and Adult fiction paranormal romance under my pen name ‘Sedona Venez’.
Truly the support and love for my first book “Infinity (Valkyries: Soaring
Raven, #1)” has been phenomenal.
In
response, I’ve been writing like crazy, and honestly, I’m enjoying the sexier
side of New Adult and Adult writing. Now, for all of my readers that loved
“Infinity”…stay tuned for book #2 “Infinity Unleashed” and my new paranormal
romance novel “Breaking the Storm” scheduled for release 8/6/13. It’s going to
be crazy hot J.
My
New Adult/Adult fiction book release schedule:
Breaking
the Storm – August 6, 2013
Infinity
Unleashed – October 2013
Thank
you all for support!

Moonlit by Jadie Jones - YA

Moonlit
Eighteen-year-old Tanzy Hightower knows horses, has grown up
with them on Wildwood Farm. She also knows not to venture beyond the trees that
line the pasture. Things happen out there that can’t be explained. Or undone.
Worse, no one but she and the horses can see what lurks in the shadows of the
woods.
When a moonlit ride turns into a terrifying chase, Tanzy is
left to question everything, from the freak accident that killed her father to
the very blood in her veins. Broken and confused, she turns to Lucas, a
scarred, beautiful stranger, and to Vanessa, a charming new friend who has
everything Tanzy doesn’t.
But why do they seem to know more about her than she knows
herself?
Praise
"Virginia's trees look like they're burning. Most of
them blaze crimson or gold, but some still have a chokehold on their green. I
wish they'd give it up already. Leaves are more beautiful when they're
dying."
And so Moonlit begins. From here the story rolls from one
twist to another with many vivid characters whose motives are hard to predict.
I found myself being suspicious of everyone, wanting to tell Tanzy to be very
careful. The deeper I fell into the plot, the more questions kept rising to the
surface. But not to worry, all of my questions were answered. Appropriate for
all ages, if you love paranormal fantasy mixed with suspense, mystery and
other-worldly romance, you'll love this novel!

Prologue
The first anniversary of my father’s death was even harder
on my mother. Back then, I thought she was haunted most by what she didn’t
know. I refused to blame her when she raged above me on our staircase that
night, drunk and sad and angry. When she made me promise I’d never ride again.
When she hurled a half-full bottle of vodka at my face and it exploded on the
wooden stairs at my feet. I hadn’t tried to get out of the way. She had just
missed.
I wanted to tell her that knowledge was no solace, that what
you know can burn inside you until there’s nothing left but guilt and ash. I
also wanted to protect her from losing the only piece of him she had left. So I
didn’t say a word.
Author Jadie Jones
Georgia native Jadie Jones first began working for a horse
farm at twelve years old, her love of horses matched only by her love of books.
She went on to acquire a B.A. in equine business management, and worked for
competitive horse farms along the east coast. The need to write followed
wherever she went.
She currently coaches a hunt seat equitation team that
competes in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, and lives with her
family in the foothills of north Georgia. When she's not working on the next
installment of the Moonlit series, she is either in the saddle or exploring the
great outdoors with her daughter. Moonlit is her first book.

Max Xylander and the Island of Zumuruud
Max
Xylander and the Island of Zumuruud
Max has anger management issues. But she
has a secret, too. She can make things happen. Like magic. She almost killed a
loser skate punk and nearly used it on her stuck up older sister. The question
is, can she do anything other than blow things up? Can she learn to control it?
And is it really possible that an obscure teenage girl is the key to keeping
all of humanity safe?
Philip just got his ring back. He got it
taken away for messing with his teacher’s mind so he can cheat on a test. Now
that he has his ring, he thinks he should be able to use his power to make his
life better. A lot better. The problem is that people want him to be
responsible. But if you could do magic, wouldn’t you use it to escape work in
any way possible?
Aaron wants to be a soldier. He knows
there are lots of people who would try to take over, and he’s determined to
stop them. The problem is that there’s this new girl. And she might be not be
on the right side of things. She’s really talented and pretty, but she might be
able to destroy everything he believes in. Whatever the case, he knows he needs
to learn to be world class with the magic sword while he figures out what to
do.
Brynn never gets out. Her grandfather
won’t permit it. Her only access to the outside world are high fashion
magazines, so she has an unusual idea what she should wear. She’s dying to get
out and travel. And adopt animals. Any kind of animal. Is she a lonely future
granny with cats or are her ridiculous clothes actually the next fashion craze?
What possible role could she play in the destiny of the world?
Max Xylander and the Island of Zumuruud is a fast-paced
fantasy adventure for all ages (10 and up)
and is the first of a planned trilogy. Fans of magic, swordplay, secret
agents, and conspiracies set in a modern everyday world will not be able to put
the book down. Jon Thomason is a debut author and paints a vivid world of magic
right under our noses and delivers rapid-fire action that keeps the pages
turning.

Author Jon Thomason
Jon Thomason lives with his family in San Diego, after many
years living in the beautiful Seattle area. He has a successful career in high
tech where he's been fortunate enough to participate in many big-name industry
releases.
Storytelling permeates everything he does. In the moments
when Jon is not helping build the story of the tech world, he can almost always
be found working on a project: writing, photography, videography, graphics
design, or 3D art.
And he's always careful to conceal his jinni magic
abilities, though perhaps might slip one day and be discovered...
